Year 2011 included very interesting work as a musician. Some highlights include HERD's 1st prize in European Jazz Competition, debut album "Live!!" and also the debut gig of my new band, Panu Savolainen Proprius. Also worth mentioning are the concerts at the main stage of Pori Jazz Festival (with Olli Hirvonen Quartet and Kerkko Koskinen Orchestra) and the Opening Ceremonies of the new Helsinki Music Center (HERD feat. Aili Ikonen).
In 2012, I'm looking forward to play with the old and also some new groups. Besides Finland, I will be playing at least in Germany, Poland, Mexico and Netherlands.
I would like to thank everybody who came to hear these concerts in 2011! Have a wonderful 2012.
